A Commitment to Excellence
At Holy Ghost Secondary School , we believe that education is not just a means to an end but an end in itself. It is an ongoing process of personal and intellectual growth that requires perseverance, dedication, and a love of learning. Our dedicated faculty and staff are here to guide you every step of the way, to challenge you to excel, to inspire you to think critically, and to instill in you the values of integrity, responsibility, and respect.
The academic program is demanding, interesting, and applicable to everyday life. With the goals of:
Inspiring students to pursue the greatest standards of educational achievement,
Assisting them in making interconnections spanning fields of study, and
Assisting them in developing a worldview, it is built on the fundamental framework of learning, that prioritizes students.
In the end, learning helps students acquire analytical and critical thinking abilities. These extend their horizons and enhance their ability to contemplate and respond to situations in real life. These abilities enable them to live purposeful lives devoted to discovering the truth and to exercising their freedom responsibly in order to advance a better society.
Furthermore, our classrooms, laboratories and other special rooms are fitted with state-ofthe-art interactive boards for multi-modal stimulation
This is supported by periodic teacher trainings and workshops on innovations in learning to enhance our delivery. Our curriculum is broad and prepares our students to take the following exams: WASSCE NECO SSCE SAT (optional) TOEFL (optional) UTME (optional) IGCSE Cambridge (optional) SCHOLARSHIP Towards the promotion of excellence, tuition-free scholarship is offered to the overall best student in the school’s Entrance Examination yearly. Such students are placed in the Honours Roll and followed up. Another category of scholarship may also be offered to indigent students or students with the loss of sponsors or parents while still in Graceland Schools. All Scholarship applications or recommendations are treated on their merit and subject to the approval of the CEO or Management. GIFTED & TALENTED/SEN As a strategy to encourage excellence and scholarship, students with distinguished academic performance are placed on the Honours Roll or Hall of Fame when they achieve a benchmark in their GPA. Such students are placed on an accelerated learning programme to harness their potential.

Hands-on experience with the latest programming languages and technology. We have trained IT professionals who work closely with our students so they are prepared for the real world.

Giving wings to the artists who’d like to take it up as a career or just a hobby. Our students are trained by professionals who help them develop, learn and polish their skills while at school.
Humanities
The study of ancient and modern languages, philosophy, history, and more. We take pride in offering top humanity courses from a dedicated and trained staff.
Science
The study encourages scientific reasoning, discoveries and inventions. Great teachers and well-equipped laboratories help students explore, discover and experiment new things under the best supervision.
